A great compliment to the other Mansfield Carver Lion and Snake. This one of a lion cub's encounter with a snake. The carving here is just as dynamic and full of action.

When the two are together one can see that the other lion is carved from a full block, whereas here the lion cub is more slender and the carver used a base to support the two animals.
