🐍 🚗 📯 - not something I would have guessed, but this beautifully patinated snake head is from a British made car horn, called the boa-constrictor.

Snakes and serpents actually have an earlier precedent as forms for horns as shown in the picture from the Met’s collection, circa 1810.

Condition: Excellent with wear commensurate with age and a beautiful patina.
